A
range of Whittingtons products are now available in all states and territories via
Metcash. The products
can easily be ordered via stores computer terminals, or faxed.
The products, all natural
of course, range from herbs and spices both Gourmet, such as
Black label Caribbean
Seasoning (Rub) and
premium spices such as Mace
Blade all in
glass jars. Our range
of natural essences are also available, Vanilla
Extract Double Folds
(2 times the strength
of normal vanilla), Rum
Essence, Orange and Lemon
Essence.

On our return from Singapore
after 11 days of promoting Whittingtons
made natural Mustards,
Essences and a range of Herbs & Spices,
the preliminary result are very
encouraging indicating enormous growth
potential for
Whittingtons products in Singapore.

The third shipment this year has
left Whittingtons for North America.
A tremendous effort from all our staff at
Whittingtons made it possible
to send another shipment of Mustards,
Herbs & Spices and Essences ahead of schedule
to our customers in
North America. Also our USA Business Development Manager
featured in the October edition of Forbes
Magazine.

Whittingtons has had a strong presence at the
Sydney Fine Food Show.
The Victorian Business Development Manager and
the International Sales
team were all present
at the Whittingtons stand in Sydney. Many new
contacts and new
export opportunity have been initiated
to overseas country such as Papua New Guinea,
Malaysia, Singapore and
others.
We met some of our customers who have been happy
with Whittingtons
service since the early 80's
and we all enjoyed a drink together. We also
developed new Australian
business both in the West and the East.

Perth
food
show
was deemed
to be a success for Whittingtons. In the
first day we sold out of
our new Spicy Cranberries. The Truffle Salt
went extremely well with the show foodies, the culmination
of R & D by Whittingtons and the Manjmup
Truffle Company resulted in an affordable and
tasty gourmet new product. The lucky hampers
winners enjoyed a range of
Whittingtons Products.

Whittingtons will be attending the New York Fancy Food Show, at the end
of June 2009,
This will give us the opportunity to visit some of our USA and Canadian
clients and finalising new contracts for
exports of our Natural Essences and Mustards to the USA.

year Whittingtons will be
planting, via our contract farmers, an extra 100 tons
of mustard seeds, to satisfy the demand from many of our customers, for
Western Australian grown mustard seeds.

has
just
returned
from
Hofex
food
show
in
Hong
Kong,
which covers most of Asia. Food critic Jules Baras has the following to
say
about Whittingtons products:
My
favourite new food product to
Asia has to be the herbs, spices, and
mustards
produced
by
Whittingtons
of
Perth,
Western
Australia.
I
was
attracted to the counter by the aroma of sausages
sizzling in Chef Ernest
Battimiello frying pan. Cooked in a beer mustard,
the taste was absolutely
divine, and had me returning to his stall time
and time again to sample more
of his creations. Using his extensive range,
including gourmet Australian red
wine
mustard, chilli-mustard, premium milled pepper, natural rum essence,
and
lemon essence, to name but a few, I will definitely seek out these
products when they hit
the shelves."
